The CAS Iberia Tactical Series Wakizashi returns with a series of practical upgrades that refine its handling, durability, and ease of maintenance while preserving the original design’s functional, streamlined character. The updated handle features removable diamond-checkered G10 scales in place of the previous Kraton construction, allowing the handle to be disassembled for blade cleaning and maintenance while providing the option for replacement scales and future customization options. The more rounded grip offers a comfortable hold, and its textured surface provides a more secure grip in wet conditions. Matte black stainless steel fittings, including the tsuba and kurikata, complete the understated tactical appearance. Combining practical materials with a minimalist design, this updated Tactical Series Wakizashi is well suited to collectors seeking a modern interpretation of the Japanese short sword.

The 20 3/4-inch blade is crafted from 5160 high-carbon steel and retains the original Tactical Series blade geometry. Refinements to the tang and habaki accommodate the removable handle construction, supporting easier maintenance and expanded customization possibilities. Weighing 1 lb. 12 oz. with a point of balance approximately 2 1/2 inches from the guard, this wakizashi offers compact proportions and responsive handling.
