The blade has undergone a full and traditional 14 stage katana blade polishing process which leave it finished with a gleaming final polish akin to that seen on fine quality katana.  A full-length katana tang is securely mounted into a 9 5/8-inch wooden tsuka, wrapped in tightly knotted silk ito for a firm and comfortable grip and genuine rayskin samegawa panels lie beneath the wrap. The tsuba and all hilt components are crafted from solid metal and finished to match the elegant yet imposing aesthetic of Vergil’s blade and are far sturdier and more substantial than plastic fittings used on display-only pieces. Included is a lacquered wooden scabbard featuring black matte lacquer and burnished metal accents that complement the sword’s overall design. A decorative gift box and a brocade sword bag are also included to complete the sword.
