Regenyei - Light Dueling Saber
The Light Saber by Regenyei is a lightened version of the Tournament Saber and is balanced for agility and durability. It excels in being a training tool for everyday practice and sparring and for perfecting one's speed and control through fast and precise movements. Its blade is classed as "flexible" by Regenyei at about 4.5 to 5 kgs of force and has a rolled tip for safety. The flexible 33 inch blade is also tempered to a 49-51 HRc hardness.
The perforated cup-hilt guard is made from thick 3-3.5 mm thick steel and its grip is tough hardwood with an epoxy soaked cord overwrap to give it a tough and reinforcing binding that also provides a tactile grip. A solid nut secures the threaded tang of the sword into the hilt. Overall this is an excellent training and sparring saber for everyday training and use.
