Assam Rifles Kukri
This authentic kukri is made by the official government contractor, Windlass Steelcrafts, for issue to the Gurkha's Assam Rifles Regiment. Made to current military specifications, it is hand forged from high carbon steel and comes with a regulation sheath. This kukri has a long double fullered carbon steel blade. It also features the traditional religious notch symbolic of the trident (3 pronged spear) of Shiva. At a little over 1/4'' thick, this is a very powerful chopping blade. The polished, native hardwood handle is reinforced by a brass bolster and a brass pommel with a raised lion's head decoration. Include two traditional accessory knives.

Classic Kukri (genuine winclass) This is the classic Assam Rifles kukri knife. Very well made, good quality leather sheath. I got the sharpening done for $15. They did a great job sharpening the knife. (I recomend for anyone that has trouble with sharpening). Comes with the two tiny utility knives.
This is one of my favorite Kukri’s made by Windlass, I’ve own 3 of this model, one since 1996 and it’s still going strong. The newer ones done up by Windlass come factory sharp now, not sure if KoA has older stock or if they are putting on a different sharpening job then one that comes from the factory. If you are looking for a great kukri at a great price, you’ve found it.
