Bevor - Epic Dark Finish - 19 Gauge Steel
Epic Armourys Bevor is a piece of handmade and articulated armour with a blackened and antiqued finish and is designed to protect the face and neck. The upper plate is articulated and can be lowered when not in battle - when raised a spring-mounted pin automatically locks the upper plate into position and simply pressing in the pin releases the locked plate to lower it.
Sculpted to sit comfortably around the neck and rest on the shoulders, the Bevor offers the maximum amount of protection you could need on the battlefield. Overlapping plates allow for some flexibility, and it can easily be paired with other Epic Armoury helmets and body armour for a complete look.
Secure the Bevor by tightening the leather strap across the back of the neck, adjusting so that the chin comfortably sits against the interior security bar. Made of polished 1 mm thick mild steel and top-grain leather straps, this armour piece is built to withstand the abuse of a LARP or reenactment with regular leather and metal armour care.

Often paired together
The missing link… I didn’t buy this here (wish I would have), but I do own this piece. It goes great with the darkened German Gothic sallet helm, also from Epic Armoury. The articulation is good and provides ample protection. The only negatives are that I wish they would have put in some breath holes…I may drill my own. Also, be ready for some pinching unless you wear a high-neck padded collar…much more comfortable. All in all, a good piece to go with any of Epic’s darkened armor. This just brings it all together.
