Baltimore Knife & Sword - Horsehead Falcata
This Horsehead Falcata is a robustly constructed sword built by Baltimore Knife and Sword for stage combat. The blade edges are thick and blunted to resist damage and for safety. The blade is medium carbon alloy steel which is tempered to 48-50 HRc to create a resilient and durable sword capable of withstanding repetitive impact and shock.
The guard and pommel are hand-forged from steel and the grip is bound in tight brown leather to complete the sword. Durably constructed, the mounting of the sword in the hilt was further reinforced by welding the guard and pommel directly to the blade tang.
This sword features a lifetime guarantee from Baltimore Knife & Sword. Should the sword break under normal stage combat use then it will be repaired or replaced by the manufacturer. Also - we can blunt the tips to a safer ''penny round'' shape upon request. Please contact us for details concerning this additional service.
