Bronze Hilt Viking Sword with Leather Wrapped Grip - Deepeeka Primus
This Viking Sword is a recreation of a Peterson Type D Viking Sword and it is crafted with a blade which is forged from high carbon steel which has been tempered. The guard and pommel are finely detailed components which are cast from bronze and the pommel follows the traditional Viking sword construction method by having a two-part pommel which is made whole by riveting a cap over the pommel base after the sword blade is anchored into the hilt at the pommel base. The grip is hardwood which has been bound in tightly-laid and spiralled high quality leather.
The sword is matched with a wood-core scabbard which is wrapped in tightly stitched leather and completed with quality cast fittings of bronze which feature highly detailed Norse knotwork design. The bronze suspension loop is firmly fitted onto the scabbard and this component allows for you to fit the strap of your own baldric or sword belt through the loop to allow for the sword and scabbard to be worn.
