Cold Steel Thai Machete
This Thai Dha Machete is ideal for practicing the Krabi Krabong and other Thai martial arts or for hacking and slicing through brush to great effect. The sharpened blade is 1055 high carbon steel with a baked matte black anti-rust finish. The long-gripped hilt is of durable polypropylene. The machete is paired with a robust nylon Cor-Ex sheath with an impact plastic chape, a back strap, and a buttoned grip-retaining strap.
The form of the Dha is eminently suited for making wide, sweeping cuts with great power and speed. The machete is balanced so that it could be used single-handed, and perhaps used with another as a dual fighting pair as often seen in Thai martial arts. The grip is plenty long enough to allow for the use of a second hand for additional power in the strike.
