Condor - Kondoru Tanto
This highly durable Tanto has a blade which is fashioned from 1075 high carbon steel; the Tanto has a robust full-tang construction created by riveted two scales of textured and carved walnut directly with the thick blade tang. The practical tsuba is durable iron and the habaki is brass. The Tanto comes with a scabbard of polished walnut with matching iron fittings and a wrapped paracord.
Please Note: It is common for the sheathing and unsheathing of the blade into its snug-fitting scabbard to leave scratches on the sides of the blade.

Condor Tool and Knife was founded in 1964 when the German Solingen-based company GEBR Weyesberg Co. expanded its operations. GEBR Weyesberg Co. was founded in 1787 and became one of the world’s largest manufacturers of knives and swords. When they founded Condor Tool & Knife they shipped state-of-the-art german manufacturing equipment to the new company and sent skilled employees to train the new workforce to make high quality and well-standardized knives, tools, and swords. Local El Salvadorean investors purchased Condor in the 1980s and it continues to run today operating 24/7 to fulfill worldwide demand.
