Epic Armoury - Dark Warrior Gorget
The Dark Warrior Gorget is crafted from 18 gauge steel. This armour is made from the new type of Dark Metal finish that gives the steel a rugged, textured look, like it has been around for ages. The dark metal finish also protects against rust and is very durable. That's right, it will not rust or scratch upon contact with another metal! This is the newest development in armour and is superior to the regular blackened or gun blued steel. You do not have to keep this armour oiled. The Warrior armour features a simple row of studs along the edges, this armour fits just about any period for any character. The gorget has a strap and buckle on each side and also has a ring on each shoulder to attach pauldrons.

Works perfectly… The purpose of this gorget (Sam) is to hold the Dark Warrior pauldrons, should one decide to not wear a breast and back plate. This, coupled with a high necked upper shoulder padding works perfectly, and is quite comfortable. Just FYI.
Good, but not as described….. Just got this gorget today. Same quality as the rest of my Dark Warrior armor….good, but could use improvement. There are two side rings for pauldrons, not just one as shown…..don’t really know what to do with the other two. Straps are well made, but will need to be dyed black…..my personal preference. I bought this so I can wear my pauldrons without my breast and back plates. I think it will work, but we’ll see. I think it would be very difficult to wear this over the cuirass because of the shoulder buckles. I would have armor up to my ears. LOL. Will definitely have to be worn with neck padding. Three out of five…okay, but no prize winner. McM
Perfect for pauldrons…. This gorget is the ideal way to wear the Dark Warrior pauldrons if you don’t want to attach them to a breastplate. They look incredibly good together and perform flawlessly. Mine came with two pauldron rings on each side, instead of the one ring shown in the photo. Not really sure what to do with the other. I suggest wearing this armor over a padded high-neck collar. It will pinch your neck unless you are wearing some kind of padding. Very good quality………McM
