Darksword Crusader Sword with Integrated Sword Belt
With the growing influence of the early medieval Church, the institution of knighthood began to take on an idealized vision of itself as not only a protector of Lord and land, but as a servant of God in service of the Church and in the defense of the weak. This idea was taken to its full development in the Knightly Orders of monk-knights; The Templar, Hospitaller and Teutonic Orders to name the most famous. The church encouraged all knights to carry the straight-hilt cruciform sword, whose simple cross shape was to symbolize the Christian duties of the knight and by whose sword the Will of God would be dealt in the form of the cross itself. Whether in the hands of the pious knight, motivated to Crusade or the warrior-monks of the Holy Orders, swords of this cruciform design crossed blades with the scimitars and sabers of Islamic warriors, whose curved sword blades were likened to the crescent moon of Islam.
This Crusaders Sword, by Darksword Armory, features a blade of 1060 High Carbon steel, tempered to a Rockwell Hardness of 53. The blade is fitted through the mild steel guard and pommel and peened against the pommel for strength. The wooden grip is tightly wrapped and sewn over with dark brown leather. The sword comes with a wood-core scabbard, likewise covered in form-fitted brown leather with a matching, integrated sword belt.

Crusader one handed sword I really recommend this sword to any Modern Crusader! For the price it is well balanced and built to take punishment. Feel free to do some light to heavy cutting without feeling guilty! I would also suggest anyone to get a shield along with this workhorse!
