Darksword Armory Einar Viking Sword with Black Integrated Scabbard Belt
The Einar Sword is a Limited Edition sword which draws its inspiration from the epic Vinland Viking sagas; the hilt is embellished with extensive, serpentine Nordic knotwork which imbues the sword with the imagery of Viking culture and mythology in homage to the sagas. The sword takes its name from the Einherjar - undead warriors of Norse mythology.
The sword is forged from 5160 high carbon steel and is differentially tempered to possess a hard edge of 60 HRC and has a softer, flexing core of 48-50 HRC. The finely detailed crossguard and pommel are cast from bronze with an intricately carved grip of darkened oakwood.
The sword is paired with a companion wood-core scabbard which is overlaid in leather and finished with a protective steel chape. Integrated and knotted onto the scabbard is a sword belt of thick leather complete with a belt buckle and chape of Norse knotwork design which is cast from antiqued brass and riveted into position.

Darksword-Einar- viking sword six months ago i ordered this sword and never once did i regret buying it . The sword is beautifully crafted and well put together, it has a good balance and feel to it. the knot work on the hilt,handle, and pommel of the sword was also well made and put together and is very solid.There are only a couple minor things about it that bug me a little. when the sword arived on the handle there are some spots where the black stain had worn of i guess so there are 2 or 3 spots where you can see the natural wood instead of it being black. nothing els is wrong with the sword itself but it didn’t come with the belt as shown in the picture. just thought it would come with it since its shown with it and the title is “black with integrated scabbard belt”. other than a little worn stain and no belt its a beautiful and well construckted sword. 5/5 stars
