Darksword Armory Guardian Sword Black
The Darksword Guardian Sword has a dual-tempered blade crafted from 5160 high carbon steel. The blade has a harder edge of 60 HRC and a softer core of 48 HRC - this optimizes the steel to flex at its center and to keep a harder, dull-resistant edge.
The pommel and guard are of steel and the substantial grip of this two-handed sword is crafted from wood and it is overlaid with black leather. The sword comes with a fitted scabbard of wood that is covered with form-fitted black leather and fitted with a metal chape.
The Guardian was designed by Jason Woodard of Factory X. Taking inspiration from his surname, which is formed from the Old English wode (wood) and ward (guardian) he dubbed the sword the Guardian. A last name like that in the early Medieval period in England denoted a man who was a forester or a steward of a wooded land.

Amazingly strong and tough looking! This is a beefy strong sword. It makes a Claymore look like a wimp! Although it is not your everyday sword fight type of sword, it is more of a battlefield sword meant to break through heavy armor. A barbarian sword. I hang mine on what I call my wall of barbarian with other strong looking barbaric weapons. It truly is an intimidating sword!
