Overview
Darksword Oslo Viking Sword - Brown Leather
The Oslo Viking sword from Darksword Armory is inspired by the Viking swords featured in the Museum of Cultural History in Oslo, Norway. It features a blade of 5160 High Carbon steel which has been dual tempered to possess a Rockwell Hardness of 60 at the edges and 50 at the core. The guard and pommel are finely cast from bronze with Norse knotwork motifs. The grip is Ebony wood which has been precision-cut to display Norse knotwork design in relief and its designs are inspired by the Oslo Viking ship.
Included with the sword is a wood-core scabbard which is tightly bound in brown leather and capped with a protective chape of steel.

I absolutely love this sword. Superb quality with a good weight and balance. It really is a very solid sword. I was a bit nervous spending this amount for a piece I never held but once it was in my hand I had zero regrets and knew it was worth the price and the wait. Ordered it on a random day in September after months of researching the right sword to purchase and it was delivered on the day of my 40th birthday in January. The odds of that happening are crazy and made this sword that much more special. Thank you very much!
