The Swiss Saber by Darksword Armory is a large and battle ready two-handed sword with an inspiration from late medieval Swiss designs. Forged from 5160 high carbon spring steel, the almost 34″ blade features a differentially hardened blade with a 60 HRC edge and a resilient 48–50 HRC core for both sharpness and durability. With its ring-hilt guard, long grip, and wide chopping blade, the Swiss Saber is a commanding weapon suited for collectors, reenactors, and practitioners who favor power and reach. The blade is forged from resilient 5160 high carbon spring steel and tempered for a hard, edge-retaining edge while leaving the blade’s body softer and more flexible for shock absorption. Its hilt components — including the ring-guard and flared pommel — are crafted from steel for durability. The wooden grip is overlaid with tight black leather for secure handling. A wood-core scabbard wrapped in matching black leather and tipped with a steel chape completes the set.
