Founded and operated by Eyal Azerad, Darksword Armory has long been supplying the re-enactment and sword enthusiast community with swords, daggers and more since 1996. New offerings from Darksword Armory are typically durable handcrafted swords with well-tempered blades. Most models come with a wooden scabbard and these often come in two options with plain scabbards or scabbards with integrated sword belts available.

I’m happy with it. If you want the finest quality with zero complaints you should definitely look elsewhere and plan to spend two times as much. I ordered ” the viscount” and got close to what is pictured above and the reason for that type of discrepancy seems to be because Darksword supplies KOA with a wide variety of blades within the same model. What I mean is: You may get the crossgaurd, grip, and pommel that you see pictured and a sword that fits a general description of the specific model you are buying.
When it comes to the quality it is very much worth the price, because the construction is solid as a rock. The sword I received has no rattle whatsoever; I don’t have plans to see if my sword will hold up to abuse, but I can say it is well balanced when practicing positions and movements, so that should also be noted as far as quality is concerned.
The final thing to note about my viscount and Darksword in general is the scabbard that comes with your sword. I’m not joking when I say the very reason that I ordered a Darksword was because it comes with a woodcore scabbard, it seems like a basic thing, but in this case it makes up for any gamble you might take on blade dimensions.
I’m definitely going to recommend Darksword to any sword enthusiast looking to get a great deal, but do not expect a seamless masterpiece.
