This is 1 kilogram of aluminum chainmail rings that are ready to be riveted into whatever chainmail project you have in mind. Being aluminum they weigh much less than standard steel chainmail.
The individual rings are 10 mm in diameter and 16 gauge in thickness. Included is round rivets that are used to dome-rivet these rings closed.
