Elven Buckler – Leather Covered Foam Shield

This bestselling Epic Armoury Elven Buckler is a small leather covered shield worn around the wearers arm, inspired by a naturalistic elven society. The buckler is elongated with rounded corners, covered with overlapping vegetable-tanned leather. The leather straps on its back can be adjusted with its antiqued brass buckles and they are arranged to accommodate both right and left handed use. Featuring a sturdy leather brace to strap your arm securely against the underside you can feel confident that this hard EVA foam and leather shield will withstand the continued abuse of a LARP with regular leather maintenance.

All latex-coated shields need a certain degree of maintenance. For this we recommend using maintenance silicone which can be purchased separately. Epic Armoury Maintenance Silicone is an easy, spray-on application, 100% pure and acid-free making it safe to apply. We recommend using Maintenance Silicone on a regular basis. It maintains the latex-coats flexibility and prevents it from drying out, keeping the product wear and tear resistant.

Store your latex shields flat --NEVER on the tip (if applicable). Use a simple sheet or towel lining to prevent it from touching a plastic or rubber surface to prevent your weapon from adhering to other products. Keep your shield in a cool, dry environment
