Elven Long Bladed War Knife with Damascus Blade

This Elven War Knife has a sweeping blade which is practically a short sword in length which has been forged from damascus steel and its especially vibrant, flame and starburst-like patterning were created when a skillful blade smith melded and folded two different steels into a single blade. This method serves to not only create brilliant patterning, but it also creates a blade merges the properties of harder and softer steels into a single blade. The functional blade is sharpened and its arcing edge allows for powerful cutting and slashing; like a shobu katana, the graceful lines of the tip make it a surprisingly capable piercing weapon as well. A thick spine gives it good durability.

The grip is crafted from two composite halves of polished bone and walnut interspaced with brass and black pakkawood which are quadruple-riveted to the thick blade tang to create a robust hilt construction. The sword is paired with a sturdy sheath of thick leather with a stitched construction. Integrated with the sheath is a belt loop and a buttoned retaining strap.
