Furdess Helm - 14 Gauge - Deepeeka
The Furdess Helm is robustly crafted from thick, 14 gauge steel with riveted construction. The helm is essentially a spangenhelm with an elongated and intimidating faceplate; hinged plates give further protection to the sides of the head.
The interior of the helm is lined with leather and even the faceplate and side plates are lined with leather on the inside. The helm is fitted with an integrated, internal leather suspension liner that can be adjusted to tailor the fit of the helm to the head. Thick bands of foam padding are hidden behind the leather at the base of the helmet dome to give further protection from impacts. A leather cord is included to be used with the brass rings on the side plates to be used a chin strap.
