Honshu 1917 Hybrid Cutlass
The Honshu 1917 Hybrid Cutlass is a sword ready for the toughest of scrums in a close quarters environment; the blade is long enough for a decisive reach, but short enough to avoid being fouled in cluttered quarters. The cutlass blade with its thickened spine and widened tip is built for powerful chops and hacks and it is forged from tough and resilient tempered 1075 high carbon steel with a blackened finish. The guard gives excellent hand protection and is crafted from blackened steel and the full tang grip is completed with a pair of hardwood grip scales which are threaded directly to the tang for a tough, lasting and eminently practical construction. The sword comes with a scabbard of stitched leather with a blackened metal chape and a belt loop mounted on a swivel for wear.
