The guard and pommel are crafted from stainless steel and the grip is a tight wrap of leather over a wood core. The blade is solidly peened over the pommel for a tough and lasting overall construction. The sword is capably balanced and ready for action right out of the box. Included is a wood core scabbard which is overlaid in leather and fitted with a protective stainless steel chape.
