Overview
Knights Collection - Dual Ring Longsword
This expertly crafted late medieval and early Renaissance dual-ring hilt longsword sword from the Knights Collection Series is a practical cutting sword with a forged and tempered 1060 high carbon steel. The almost 36" long blade has cross section geometry featuring a hollow ground cross section which reduces weight and drag before terminating in a sharp edge. The 1060 steel is heat-treated to a 52-54 HRc hardness to achieve a balance of edge retention and resilience. Designed for cutting practice or as a standout piece in any collection the sword combines authentic medieval aesthetics with modern durability and material technology and is a solid choice for beginners and seasoned collectors alike.
The full-tang construction ensures the sword can withstand the rigors of cutting exercises or drill. The pommel is peened to secure the hilt in a traditional method that enhances durability. The guard and pommel are cast from stainless steel and the handle is wrapped in tactile cord and provides a secure grip while the crossguard is crafted to offer hand protection without sacrificing aesthetics. The sword comes with a wooden scabbard which is overlaid in faux leather. A matching thin faux leather hanging strap is included.

Knight's Collection
The knightly spirit of the Middle Ages is within reach and in your hands with the Knight’s Collection series of swords. These are real, durable and battle-ready swords fit for target cutting right out of the box at a great entry price!
Crafted with balance and practical usability in mind, these sharp-edged blades are forged with tempered 1045 or 1060 high carbon steel. Solid, full tang construction makes these practical cutters a fine starting point for a beginner or a great way to pad out a collection for the seasoned tatami-slicing enthusiast.
Often paired together

Let me start with the negative. The scabbard is crap. Really just junk. The D rings on the guard were not level with each other, so I had to put it in the vice and do some bending to get it straight. There are rough casting marks on the guard, that had to be smoothed out with a dremmel.
BUT… here’s the positive. The blade has a very good spring temper and bounces back very easily without being too “whippy”. The hollow ground blade is nice and even. It’s moderately sharp, but could stand a little The hilt and guard fit tight to the blade.
Overall, for the price point, it’s a good buy. But there’s definitely some finishing needed that could make it a really nice sword
