I received this sword a few days ago, and I don’t have many complaints. However, it didn’t come sharpened what so ever. I chose the factory edge, expecting something decent, but it was as sharp as a display sword, no edge. I ended up sharpening it myself, and it went pretty well. It’s a hard blade, and very heavy. In the video under this sword, it isn’t the same sword. Just like the pictures the scabbard will only have one metal section for your belt, and the stitching is in the middle of the scabbard. The pommel and guard had some sharp edges, but nothing that couldn’t be fixed with a file. It is also very hard to open the first couple of days. It’s still pretty difficult. Finally, there was also a slight warp in the edge on both sides of the blade, but it was just a cosmetics issue, it doesn’t interfere with the performance. One last thing that is also just cosmetics, the pommel is two different colors. On the part where it is supposed to be a light yellow, one side is correct, but the other side is white. All in all, it’s a pretty good sword for the price, but if cosmetic are important to you, might want to go for something a bit more pricey.
For a cheap sword, it was very high quality. They sharpened it and I think they did a pretty good job. My only complaint was that they charged me like $70 for shipping. It ended up being about $220 in total (including sharpening), otherwise a great sword. I would totally recommend as a starter sword. :)
