Additional information
The White Arc Jian by LK Chen recreates the classic Han military Jian and is closely based on an original example. The sword is swift and agile with a long blade and an austere, minimalist and altogether elegant design. Well suited to both cutting and thrusting, the blade is forged from folded 1065 and T8 high carbon steel which have been melded into a single blade; the classic diamond cross section of the blade strikes a balance between stiffness and flexibility and is finished with a tempered hardness of 55-58 HRc.
The guard and pommel are finely cast from brass and the wooden grip is bound in white cord. The paired scabbard is carved from polished wood and finished with lacquer and brass fittings.
Please note: Scabbard may some minor cosmetic blemishes such as scuffs and indentations.
Jon from Unsheathed Sword Reviews –
This sword is absolutely amazing. It is light, and fast, and excels in both cutting and thrusting. The fit and finish is very good, and it displays as well as it handles. The wooden scabbard is of excellent quality, and a work of art in itself. Overall, we at Unsheathed Sword Reviews can’t recommend this sword enough. Here is a video review we put together that goes into a bit more depth. Thanks for watching
