more tactiCOOL than tactical I found the grid to be rather uncomfortable and felt that it did not grip my hand very well at all. And the axe head is obviously made for for construction than for fighting. And if you are wondering if the hook on the axe head is large enough to grab a opponents limbs or neck, no, it is rather small actually. The back spike is really the only thing I enjoyed about this weapon. It is good for camping, though. I would recommend using it for that.
better then nothing I bought one at a camping store years ago. i wanted a good one handed axe. be careful when cutting small firewood. on the backswing i almost stabbed myself with the spike. since them i have used it for a few years as a tomahawk, meaning i throw it at trees to practice my aim. 9/10 the spike gos in with the handle pointed up. which would really mess a person’s day up. my only real complaint it the handle. it doesn’t offer much of a grip so if used like a fighting hatchet, it would come right out of ur hand after a few swings.
