Militia Templi Sword - Knight's Templar Arming Sword - Deepeeka
The Militia Templi Sword from Deepeeka is a surprisingly agile sword for its size despite its broad cutting blade; boldy emblazoned with the sign of the Cross, this sword is right at home in the hands of the Crusading knight. The blade is forged from high carbon steel which has been tempered. The guard is fine-cast brass and the pommel is steel with a brass cross inset into ebony enamel. The crossguard and blade are both etched with the Cross on both sides and the wooden grip is bound in leather to complete the sword.
The sword is paired with a companion scabbard of carved wood which is tightly bound in black leather and completed with steel fittings and stainless steel hanging rings. The arrangement of the rings allow for it to be worn either at an angle or suspended vertically from the sword belt (hangers and belt are not included).

This is my third sword so far, and it’s the best one yet. I don’t consider myself an expert, but it’s a good craftsmanship, and very well balanced – it feels much lighter than it is. Also, it looks fantastic, better than on photos, and these photos are not bad at all, so 5 stars from me.
Got my sword today, and straight out of the box I am extremely impressed. I’ve been a sword collector for many years and have owned many swords from many different manufacturers. I can easily say this is the most beautiful sword I have ever owned. Not only pleasing to the eye in person, it is VERY lively in the hand. All parts came tight, nothing loose and no rattles in the handle or guard. The grip is tightly wrapped and fits my hand perfectly. I had KOA sharpen my blade for me and the did a bang up job, it is exactly how sharp I was hoping for and whoever sharpened it did so cleanly. The lines are perfect, no wandering grinds or mistakes present at all. So thank you whoever you are. The scabbard is just as handsome as the rest of the sword and it fits snuggly but not too tight as to make it troublesome when drawing the sword. All in all I couldn’t be happier with my purchase and look forward to many, many decades enjoying it. Thanks again to the people at KOA. You have my respect and gratitude.
Just got my sword today, and right out of the box it is amazing. Very lively in the hand, and the quality of the craftsmanship is top notch. Nothing loose and zero rattling in handle or cross guard. Paid extra for sharpening service and whoever did it has obviously done this many times. The grind lines are perfect, couldn’t be happier. Scabbard is beautifully made, the pictures really don’t do it justice. Overall I am overjoyed with everything about my purchase. Thanks to the team at KoA I’ll be enjoying this sword for many years to come.
To start, I noticed right off the bat the brass cross on the pommel and guard were significantly tarnished. As for the blade itself, the craftsmanship and KOA sharpening service were top notch.
Going back to the dirty parts… Looking closer inside of the box I noticed a cleaning kit was included and instantly got the message. I applied some of the Flitz polish to the brass and a few minutes of polishing later, the parts mentioned before were pristine and shining like new. Overall, I’m very happy with my purchase and the attention to detail that KOA provided me. Just seeing that extra step in the polishing kit proved to me that these guys are actually looking at each piece, are honest, and legitimate.
Don’t hesitate on this sword. It is worth it!
