Musha Black Shirasaya Katana
This Shirasaya Katana from Musha has a blade which was forged from 1045 high carbon steel and finished with a sharpened edge and an etched hamon. The sword is mounted into a wooden shirasaya tsuka with a matte black finish; it is secured into the hilt in the traditional manner with a tight fit for the tang and a bamboo mekugi peg. The sword is matched with a saya scabbard of matching wood with a matte black finish.

Very happy with this sword. Packaged very well, tons of brown paper. The only thing I’ve discorvered which very well could be me, i can not get the handle off after removing the pin. As i said that could very well be me making a mistake, probably a testament to the construction honestly. You dont want a loose handle on your sword.
