Musha Elite - "Nehan" (Nirvana) Katana
The Nehan Katana from the Musha Elite Collection is imbued with Buddhist spiritual symbology, particularly with its elegant depiction of Mt Fuji on the tsuba. Mt Fuji is regarded as an symbol of the path to enlightenment and the spiritual growth that comes with the journey. The beautifully blued blade is forged from well tempered 1040-1045 high carbon steel and is sharp and ready for use right out of the box. The full length Katana tang is mounted into a hilt with tsuba, fuchi and kashira hilt components that are of metal with a silvered finish.
The grip is of wood with faux rayskin panels which are bound in knotted ito cord. The included saya scabbard is crafted from wood and is lacquered a deep and glossy dark blue and finished with a dark blue sageo cord. Included is a cloth sword bag and a shelf or desk mount standing display stand.
