The Musashi Zetsurin Wakizashi has a blade of tempered 1045 high carbon steel and a second hidden blade; a Kozuka knife that discreetly slides into a slot in the scabbard. The sharpened blade is mounted into a wooden grip with a antiqued metal fuchi and kashira hilt components. The black faux rayskin on the grip is overlaid in cord to complete the sword. The sword is matched with a wooden scabbard which is finished in a glossy black lacquer and a black sageo cord. The included Kozuka knife with a sharpened steel blade is a finely detailed utility knife which has its own slot in the scabbard where it can be readily removed for use. This sword has a matching Katana available – pair the two of them together to create a thematically linked Daisho sword set!

The Zetsurin Wakizashi is a cross between a traditional Wakizashi and a shirasaya. The detailed metal Fuchi and Kashira portrays the Asahina family crest. The Asahina family was a Japanese clan during the Sengoku period who were known to be fierce warriors who were feared by all their enemies.
