The Pakal Knife is a quickly-drawn and powerful-striking self defense knife that is designed to be comfortably held in both the “Ice-Pick Grip” (The Pakal Grip) and a standard grip. Unlike many knives this fighting knife is comfortable in both grips and is a tried and true design from the ancient tribes of the northern Philippines who used them for survival and self defense.

This Pakal Knife from TFW was crafted in the Philippines and has a blade of 5160 / D2 high carbon steel with a tempered hardness of 58-60 HRc. The grip has two well-formed and smoothly finished halves of native Philippines hardwood which are stoutly fitted to a very thick and durable blade tang. A traditional wooden sheath with a retaining clip is included, as well as a more more Kydex sheath which is more practical for self defense and survival wear.

DIRECTIONS OF USE:  Its basically easy. You can wear it on your side, on the back, or the front clipping it onto your belt. You can wear it outside over the belt or hidden inside your pants still clipping it to your belt. To draw this Pakal Knife from the tactical sheath, pull up to draw close to the body then slash and jab as needed. It is imperative to practice drawing with this or any knife if you want to be efficient and prepared in worst case scenario situations.
