Ronin Katana – Dojo Pro Wakizashi Model #4

This Wakizashi is a stylistically matched fit to the Ronin Katana Dojo Pro Model 13 and can be paired with the larger sword to create a matched daisho set.

The Ronin Katana Wakizashi #4 has a through-tempered blade that is forged from 1060 high carbon steel. The sharpened blade has a deep bo-hi groove to reduce weight in the blade whilst keeping much of its integral strength.

The tsuba, fuchi and kashira hilt fittings are crafted from iron and feature the simple stylings and the iconic dual-ring favored by the great swordsman Musashi. The habaki and seppa are brass and the wood tsuka grip is wrapped in rayskin before being overlaid with knotted synthetic silk tsuka-ito cord. A pair of brass menuki are fitted within the binding grip cords.

The wooden saya scabbard has a Kurikata, Koguchi and Kojiri of polished buffalo horn; the wooden parts of the scabbard were finished with a gloss-finish black lacquer and a black sageo cord to match the color of the grip. The sword comes with a cloth sword bag.
