This medieval Falchion is handcrafted by Swordier and draws its inspiration from classic medieval European examples. Built with performance in mind it features a sharp spring-steel blade that delivers significant cutting power whilst retaining resilience and durability. The stainless steel hilt is mounted with the blade with a secure peened tang construction. The grip is carved from wood and wrapped in cord for a comfortable, confident hold. Designed as a battle-ready cutter, this sword is well-suited for HEMA practitioners, backyard cutters, collectors, and medieval enthusiasts seeking a functional blade that performs as sharply as it looks.
Elegant in form yet purposeful in execution the 26 inch blade is thick near the base and subtly distal tapered, lending it excellent slicing capability while maintaining enough rigidity for controlled thrusts. Weighing a little over 2.5 pounds and balanced approximately 3 inches from the guard, the sword moves with quickness and authority—light enough for fluid maneuvering while still carrying the mass needed to bite deeply into targets. The 4 3/8 inch leather-wrapped grip accommodates a secure single-handed hold and it transitions cleanly into a refined stainless steel wheel pommel.
The sword is paired with a durable hard-leather sheath, stitched and shaped to the blade for a fit. The sword is secured with buttoned retaining straps and a simple nylon shoulder strap is integrated with the leather sheath.
