United Cutlery – Honshu Full Tang Tactical Tanto

The Honshu Full Tang Tactical Tanto brings the classical beauty and utility of the Japanese Tanto and melds it with modern metallurgy and construction for a dagger that is ready for all survival situations. It is a stylistic match to the Honshu Full Tang Wakizashi and Katana (SKU UC2934 / UC3026) and all three together make a modern matched Daisho set, though it is quite capable on its own because the blade is large for a tanto – making it a fine sidearm all on its own and a complement to modern weapons and tactics. With a balance at just 1/4″ above the guard the entire weapon is lively and agile.

The 12″ blade is forged from practical and resilient 1060 high carbon steel and the full tang construction features a full length tang fitted between two solid grip scales of textured ABS for a solid and secure 6.5 inch handhold. Its guard and habaki are strong brass and a paracord lanyard keeps the blade in your possession and it is paired with a wood and black lacquered scabbard with a wrap of paracord that can be utilized for innumerable lifesaving operations in the field. Included is a cloth bag for storage and transport.
