THE defining officially licensed Museum Collection edition of Andúril— the “Flame of the West”—serves not only as a tribute to Aragorn, King Elessar of Gondor, but as a centerpiece worthy of the most discerning collector’s display. With a 1060 high-carbon steel blade and improved design details including more crisp and impactful rune script, these refinements elevate the cinematic legendary sword into a tangible heirloom.
The 41 inch long blade is crafted of premium 1060 high-carbon steel polished to a mirror-like finish, and etched with the runes seen on the original official film prop. The fuller grooves have been adjusted to accurate length and proportion, and each sword features individual serial numbering on the ricasso.
The hilt features antique-finish metal fittings and a leather-wrapped grip styled in keeping with the Gondorian lineage. A 14 1/8-inch wooden wall-mount display is included, complete with gold-plated crest, mounting arms and a blue cloth banner bearing the heraldic white tree of Gondor, the seven stars of Elendil and the winged crown of the king.
Forged in the aesthetic tradition of famous fantasy blades yet executed with real high carbon steel, this Andúril brings together design, heritage and craftsmanship. The 1060 blade provides the correct weight and balance that reflect the film-used prop, while the refined finish and detailing place this version at the summit of the UC Museum Collection line.
