Viking Temple Stage Combat Sword - Stage Combat Version with Suspension Loop Scabbard - Deepeeka
This updated version of Deepeeka’s Viking Temple Sword has an improved blade balance with more distal taper as well as an improved scabbard and it has a thick blade with a rebated blunt edge designed for stage combat use. The sword not only looks better than its earlier incarnation but handles better in the hand, both on the strike and the recovery. The blade is forged from C60 high carbon steel (similar to 1060 high carbon steel) and is tempered to a 48-52 HRc hardness. Its hilt is of steel and the wooden grip is wrapped in leather. The tang of the sword is robustly peened over the pommel for a tough construction.
The scabbard is improved with an improved fit and appearance and is a wood core scabbard with a stitched wrap of leather. It is completed with cord bindings and a wooden suspension loop by which a sword belt or baldric can be slotted or knotted into.
