Nice Little Piece Very attractive and functional axe head, but I’m not so sure about the handle. The wood seems kind of “disposable,” for lack of a better term, and the head rattles on the shaft a bit (straight out of the box). I reckon that’s why they sell a spare though! Anyway, KOA put a really nice edge on it and I still got it within a week, so that part of the review gets high marks! Overall, I’d say I would recommend it – despite the handle. That can be replaced, and I didn’t really buy this one for throwing anyway, so no harm, no foul. It looks fantastic on my “medieval” wall, and I wouldn’t have any reservations about pulling it down and using it in self-defense if I had to, so I’ll call myself happy!
