Wheel of Time - Heron Mark Sword of Rand Al' Thor
This beautiful and elegant sword is a licensed reproduction of the Heron Sword as seen in the Wheel of Time. Faithful to the original show prop from the Amazon adaptation of Robert Jordan's novels. The blade of stainless steel is polished to a gleaming mirror finish and is marked with a brass heron on the base of the blade on both sides. The grip is bound in faux leather and the guard and fittings are of antiqued brass.
Included is a Certificate of Authenticity and a black wooden display plaque to mount and display the sword. Mounting and Assembly hardware is included.
A sure mark of a Blademaster is the Heron emblazoned upon the blade. The Heron mark is a symbol often found on Power-wrought swords. Since these blades were immune to damage from ordinary means, a blacksmith could not engrave a Heron mark after they had been created by the Aes Sedai. As a result, Power-wrought swords bearing the Heron mark became especially coveted among blademasters.
