Windlass Battlecry! - Crecy War Dagger
From the Windlass Steelcrafts Battlecry! Collection comes the Crecy War Dagger - a practical and solid medieval sidearm built for the province of war. It has a sharpened blade of 1065 high carbon steel and its tang is fitted into a steel hilt with a leather-wrapped wooden grip. A thickened, quadrangular tang gives it improved durability and is less likely to rotate or shift in the grip than a common round tang. The sword blade and hilt furniture are both finished with an antiqued, battle-worn blued finish. The blade was tempered to a hardness in the low 50s HRC to give it an excellent balance between hardness and durability.
The included scabbard is made from thick leather with a protective antiqued steel chape and comes with a frog with a belt loop for wear. Included with the dagger is a factory Certificate of Authenticity signed by the smith who crafted your dagger.

Excellent dagger, felt comfortable to hold, the guard was very well fitted. It easy to cut with and very pretty weapon. Only issue was the scabbard has a loose fit, and the dagger falls out if it held upside down.
