This German Halberd head is forged from high carbon steel. Its edges are unsharpened and the the socketable head has an opening that is approximately 1 1/8 in diameter. Two pre-drilled holes will accommodate your own screws or rivets when affixing this halberd head to a tapered pole.

Neither pole or mounting hardware are included.

A ferocious battlefield weapon of the late medieval and Renaissance period, the halberd excels as a group combat weapon and a mass of men bearing them have no shortage of options when dealing with their foes. A well-drilled unit will have men holding an enemy at bay whilst their companions strike at their already entangled foes from unprotected angles.

A versatile weapon, the long spearpoint ably repels cavalry and footmen alike. The hooked pick pierces armor and this examples crescent axehead deals a deadly combination of crushing, piercing and chopping force.
