This well-balanced Professional Throwing Axe lets you focus on your technique instead of wasting time dealing with the inevitability of broken axe handles with its patent-pending locking mechanism on the axehead which allows for quick removal and replacement of an axe haft. Twin Allen Key screws fasten and tightly cinch the axehead to its haft and allow for quick disassembly if a handle needs to be replaced so you can get back to practice, competition and fun in minutes.
The sturdy axehead is drop-forged from 1055 high carbon steel and it comes mounted onto a wood haft of robust American Hickory.
Please Note: Allen Keys are not included and replacement handles are not included. It is common for this item to require a quick tightening to secure the head when you receive it because it may ship loosely assembled so as to allow the wood to adjust to local climate during shipping.
