14th - 15th Century Gothic Leg Armor - 16 Gauge - Lord of Battles
This matched pair of Gothic style leg armor consists of a cuisse and poleyn which are fashioned from 16 gauge steel and its individual plates are constructed and articulated with rotating rivets. The armor is buckled, adjusted and fitted to the leg with three sets of integrated antiqued steel buckles and thick leather straps.
A buckle at the top allows for the armor to be buckled onto a leather strap for support to keep the armor from sliding down the leg. This strap could potentially come from a belt or another piece of armor. For display purposes we simply tied them into position to simulate this.
