Polish Army Saber Model 1976 - Universal Swords
This close replica of the Model 1976 Polish Army Saber faithfully recreates it dimensions and blade markings, etchings and design of the Polish military saber in use from 1976 to 1990. The blade is forged from tempered high carbon steel and is etched on a single side with "HONOR I OJCZYZNA" (Honor and Fatherland) which continues the tradition of this patriotic phrase that hearkens back to the Polish Cavalry Saber of 1917.
Like originals, the hilt is cast from fine quality polished brass and the grip is wood with an overwrap of black leather and carefully inlaid with braided brass wire to complete the sword. The blade is stoutly anchored into the hilt and included is a steel scabbard with a pair of steel hanging rings.
