Heavy Throwing Tomahawk - Polished - Deepeeka
This Heavy Throwing Tomahawk has a head forged from high carbon steel which is mounted to a hardwood hickory haft. The teardrop cross section of the haft aids in intuitively letting its wielder know the alignment of the axe edge. A replacement hickory handle for this tomahawk is linked on this page under the also available headline.
Please Note: It is typical for these tomahawks to have heads that have a substantial amount of dried oil, light rust and light surface pitting in addition to forge carbon which darkens much of the head. The example photographed was cleaned up with a wipe of mineral spirits and a few minutes of work with a scuff pad. The last photo is an example of what these axeheads can look like by default. The tomahawks are shipped assembled state, not separated as was done for the last photo.
