11″ Gurkha Afghan Issue Khukuri – Ex Gurkha Khukuri House

The Afghanistan Campaign issue Gurkha Khukuri from Ex-Gurkha Khukuri House is a robust, field-proven blade patterned after the issue kukri carried by British Gurkhas during their deployment in Afghanistan. Built for demanding use, it features an 11" blade forged from 5160 high carbon steel and differentially tempered for optimal performance—combining a flexible spine (22–25 HRC) for shock absorption, a durable midsection (45–46 HRC), and a hardened edge (58–60 HRC) that holds a sharp edge. Tough, robust and reliable, this Khukuri hits with tremendous cutting and splitting force and is a ready companion to handle all the rigors of war, strife and survival.

The full tang construction is substantial and dependable, paired with a grip of carved wood slabs securely riveted in place for a confident hold. An extended tang tab with a lanyard hole adds versatility in the field.The included scabbard is crafted in the traditional Nepalese style, with a carved pinewood core set using Laha adhesive and wrapped in tough, refined water buffalo rawhide leather for added durability. Its belt loop and retention strap are made from leather. Completing the set are the traditional companion tools: the karda, a small utility knife, and the chakmak, used for honing and maintaining the kukri’s edge.
