Albion Mercenary Sword
The Albion Mercenary Sword is a short and handy hand and a half sword with a very stiff blade, primarily for thrusting, but pretty decent for cutting as well. This sword is one of the quickest types there is, as it follows your intentions at quicksilver like speed. Because of the very narrow point the spine can be made quite thick without the blade becoming cumbersome. This makes for superior stiffness and a very effective thrust.
The Albion Mercenary Sword features a sharpened high carbon steel blade heat-treated to a fine temper in the Albion Forge Shop. The grip is of stabilized birch, wrapped with cord and covered with the highest grade vegetable-tanned calfskin. The guard and pommel are solid steel.

It’s no secret that you’ll get an absolutely wonderful sword going with an Albion, but what makes this sword in particular special?
This is the perfect sword if you want a good cut and thrust sword that is still incredibly agile. It’s my favorite of all the swords I own in regards to handling and puts a smile on my face every time I pick it up. The rigidity of the sword allows for multiple accurate swings with ease. The grip very comfortable, an excellent length and all the metal surfaces of the hilt are comfortable as well.
If you’re just getting into high-end swords, this is the perfect one to start with as it can cover so many use-cases. Buy this sword. You won’t regret it. But don’t forget to order a scabbard too!
