With it’s origins as an agricultural tool, the Bill became a favored weapon of the English foot soldier from the 14th to the 17th century, seeing service from the Scottish border to wars in France. George Silver, an English author of arms, recommended this pole arm more highly than a sword. This weapon was also called a Brown Bill or Forest Bill. Features a carbon steel head affixed to an ash pole.

Please Note: The wood haft may be slightly warped. This is normal for this item
