Awesome I can imagine what this weapon could do in battle. I imagine it would be helpful vs cavalry. The blade’s length seems excessive for mere one on one combat. However a massed group of soldiers/warriors with these who knew what they were doing would do real damage to a cavalry charge. They could even attack the rider effectively. With this long a sword you don’t really need a halberd. The even longer Great Sword was definitely partially used to deal with cavalry. It’s a thing of beauty, and lethality
This sword is absolutely dope, it has the teeniest bit of a warp towards the tip but it’s to be expected when you buy a beast of a sword with such a long blade. Everything seems tight and solid, no rattles, and it is plenty sharp, but I did get the added sharpening. 9.5/10 only because of the slight warp.
Overall a very good product, EN45 is a very good steel for durability. Ive whacked a good few things with it, and there is no edge damage at all. came with a few tiny blemishes, but that is to be expected when shipping, and it all came off with a bit of polish. only issue i have is that the blade has a very slight twist at the tip, that or the grind is slightly asymmetrical at the tip, but not enough to effect performance, you can only tell when inspecting closely.
