Combed Morion Helm - 18 Gauge Steel - Deepeeka
This Morion Helm is constructed from 18 gauge steel; the base of the helmet is lined with large brass studs. The unlined interior of the helmet is blackened to give it some resistance to rust. This helmet comes with a separate padded cotton arming cap.
The wide brim of the Morion serves as a good shield to the head from incoming projectiles, as well as intercepting blows a good distance away from the face and overall head. The raised comb also absorbs strikes away from the top of the head and redirects and dissipates the force of a strike down the sides of the helmet instead of directly into the top of the head.
