This chainmail standard is simple, yet effective; a band of chainmail and leather that protects the neck, particularly from cutting or slashing strikes. Much of the chainmail has been stitched in place to the leather and the chainmail links are dome-riveted mild steel round ring links that alternate with solid flat rings. The mail has been blackened for a finish.
